Recognizing and serving the needs of underserved populations are complex tasks. This course helps the medical professional identify the needs of underserved population and the barriers to serving those needs. The attendees will leave equipped with the tools to improved access to care, provide services and preventive measures.

Goals:

Upon taking this course Health Care Professionals will be able to:
Indentify the special needs of the underserved populations.
Understand the barriers to care.
Formulate strategies to improve access to care.
Design environments for treatment and develop treatment plans.
